Acknowledgments & Licenses

"SALAFI (সালাফী)" is a non-profit and completely free-to-use Islamic application. To develop this app and implement its various features, we have utilized several open-source libraries, public APIs, and open resources. We are sincerely grateful to all the developers, organizations, and contributors whose work has made the creation of this app possible.

Important Note: The "Salafi" app itself is not an open-source project. Its source code is not publicly shared, and reverse engineering of the application is strictly prohibited.

Content & API Credits

The Islamic content used in the app has been collected from various open sources. All copyrights for the content belong to their respective authors, translators, and publishers.

  • Quran Majeed:
    • API: Quranic text, translations, and tafsirs are sourced from github.com/fawazahmed0/quran-api.
    • Translations: Dr. Prof. Mujibur Rahman, Dr. Abu Bakar Muhammad Zakaria, and Maulana Mohiuddin Khan.
    • Tafsir: Dr. Abu Bakar Muhammad Zakaria and Hafiz Ibn Kathir (Rh.).
    • Audio Recitations: Publicly available audio files from everyayah.com and quran.com are used.
  • Hadith:
    • This app contains Hadith content primarily compiled from github.com/fawazahmed0/hadith-api on GitHub, along with other publicly available Hadith resources.
  • Prayer Times:
    • API: Prayer times and related data in this app are provided by AlAdhan.com.
  • Du’a (Supplications):
    • This app provides daily Islamic Duas organized by category. Duas have been collected from various publicly available sources.
  • Library (Islamic Books):
    • The Islamic books (PDF/e-books) in this app are delivered from our own server (muazbinimran.top) and are organized by category.
  • Videos:
    • All video content is hosted on YouTube and displayed in the app using the YouTube Embedded Player via a WebView.
